Gold doesn't occur as a sulfide. It can be found in association with other sulfides such as pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite ect, ect, ect. Almost all sulfides will streak black. When you crush them the powder is black.What gold sulphides yield a silver powder upon crushing?
