As to basic manuals, there are several starters by RCBS, Lee, Lyman, and others, that have all the info to get you started.

Whether or not you are getting manuals in a kit along with equipment, before you resize your first case, go to a shop that deals in reloading supplies, or you can order them over the net, but buy AT LEAST one (MORE IS BETTER) reloading manual that describes the procedure of reloading in detail and READ IT!

I have been reloading for over 35+ years, and have manuals from RCBS, Speer, Sierra, Hodgdon, and Hornady, among others, most of which are older than posters on this forum, and I NEVER rely on memory when reloading even my most favorite loads. This is after WELL over half a million reloads! (I quit trying to guesstimate the number YEARS ago!)

Take it from an ol' timer, BUY the books %26amp; USE 'em! They will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know!

P.S: One of the Ten Commandments of Reloading:

';Alcohol and Powder DO NOT MIX!';

When you reload, be STONE COLD SOBER!

As others have said, NEVER rely on anyone else's hearsay advice, no matter HOW much experience they claim to have! It may be B.S. or with some of the sicko's out there, it could be a set-up. ONLY rely on info from commercial manuals, established magazines, or bonafide websites.Reloading 7mm rem mag what is the best powder to use ,best primers, and what weight projectile is best for thar
You need to buy a reloading manual.

Never, but never reload by hearsay.

Do you have any proof that that person has ever reloaded in their life.

Can you prove that they are not drunk, stoned out of their mind.

There are nut out there that would give you load data that they just made up in their head to see your trusting enough to blow up your weapon or kill your self.

A reloading manual is under $30, is your weapon or life not worth that investment.

Sorry I mean you no disrespect, but no I will not give you and loading data, why?

I don鈥檛 wont you to get in the habit of gambling you heath on the assumption that there is no nuts on the internet that would blow you up for giggles.

It never made sense to me to use 140 grain bullets in a 7 mag. It screams for 160's. If the game you're hunting doesn't need that much bullet, you're better off using a smaller caliber. Of course, old fart that I am, I load 175 Partitions in my 7 Mauser!

You'll want to try some slower powders, but I'm with the other handloaders: I wouldn't take a load from a site like this, so I won't give one.
Best powder?? I believe I'd use GUN powder
Go to: www.hodgdon.com

This site had reloading data for all of their gun powders. You can get over 100 different loads for your 7mm. All listed by bullet weight, type powder, charge weights, etc.

This is about the most comprehensive sites I've come across for reloading data.
