No it wont poison you but it will be a very bitter taste.
The sodium in baking soda is very high and you really shouldn't use it like that. If you'd give us more details about this ';experiment'; we could make suggestions to you. If you want a different taste to your sauce there are plenty of spices and seasonings that you could use.
